If you are a teacher joining this tour, we’d love for you to bring along some resources or prepare a short lesson to share with the children. If you are a social worker, your expertise would be invaluable, perhaps you could offer a session or two on wellbeing or trauma awareness for the carers at the organisations we visit. Your skills and contribution can make a lasting difference.
Some important information:
- This tour will commence in Kuala Lumpur. Please ensure you arrive at least one day prior to the commencement of the tour.
- If you are an Australian teacher, social worker or carer, travel and tour costs may be fully tax deductible. Please see your financial advisor for further information and advice. After full payment is made, you will receive a full invoice as proof of purchase for tax purposes.
- A percentage of your tour fee will be donated on your behalf to the organisations/ schools that we visit along the way - You are already 'Paying it forward'
- We require a deposit to secure your booking. If you decide to cancel your booking, our cancellation fees will apply, as per our booking conditions.
Visa Requirements
A visa is not required for entry into Malaysia for Australian Citizens, but a digital arrival card is required to be filled out online 3 days prior to arriving in Malaysia - Please see the Malaysian Immigration website
- Your passport must have at least 6 month validity
- You must have a confirmed onward or return ticket

A portion of your tour fee goes directly community organisations we visit.

Deposit & Payments
20% deposit due 90 days before the tour starts
50% payment due 65 days before the tour starts
100% payment due 35 days before the tour starts
Cancellations
Our standard cancellation fees apply in line with our booking conditions.
We recommend travel insurance that covers cancellations.

Sharing with another adult? Book under the adult rate.
- Prefer your own room? Book the single traveller rate. A single supplement will apply.
Working with Children Check
To visit organisations supporting children, all travellers must complete a valid Working with Children Check before departure. We’ll provide guidance on how to complete this.
Tax Deductibility
If you are an Australian teacher, social worker or care worker, your tour costs may be fully tax-deductible.
Please consult your accountant or financial advisor.
We provide a tax invoice once your tour is paid in full.
